Job description

As one of the first cohort marketing members in the company, the Senior Marketing & Communication Manager will have to ensure alignment with UNEY’s strategic goals and vision while contributing to shape the team culture and foster innovation from day one. Key responsibilities should include but not limited to:

  • Marketing Strategy: Develop and accomplish a strategic marketing plan that drives brand awareness, customer engagement, and lead generation across multiple channels.

  • Communication Strategy: Produce and process a communications strategy that effectively conveys our brand message to internal and external audiences, including customers, partners, and the media.

  • Marketing Guidelines and Brochures: Craft and execute universal guidelines of marketing communications and product brochures.

  • Campaign Management: Lead and mentor the marketing team to execute campaigns effectively, ensuring alignment with company goals and fostering a collaborative work environment. Oversee the planning, budget-controlling, execution, and optimization of marketing campaigns, including but not limited to digital, social, and content marketing initiatives.

  • Project Management: Planning, executing, and overseeing marketing initiatives to achieve specific business goals. Blend traditional project management principles with marketing-specific needs, ensuring that campaigns and strategies are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

  • Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team and agency to promote events through various channels, including social media, email campaigns, and content creation. Ensure brand consistency in all event materials.

  • Internal Communications: Lead internal communication initiatives to ensure alignment across teams and departments, fostering a positive and transparent company culture.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing and communications, with a significant portion within the tech industry.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent certification preferable.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages. 
  • Proven leadership in building and supervising a marketing campaign team, with strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing and communication strategies. 
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media, and content marketing. 
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools and AI marketing tools.
  • Capable of living abroad and willing to collaborate in a diverse working environment.
