At UNEY, security is more than a compliance requirement; it’s part of our DNA. To reinforce our commitment to data protection and organizational resilience, we are proud to introduce our ISO Squad Leaders, a dedicated team of spearheading ISO 27001 compliance across the company.

Who Are the ISO Squad Leaders? 

These leaders bring expertise from different domains, ensuring every aspect of security is covered: 

• Mahmoud – Product Management: Driving secure product development and governance.  
• Aileen – People: Championing security awareness across our workforce.  
• Dennis – Physical Security: Safeguarding our facilities and operational spaces.  
• Asif – Technological: Leading secure system architecture and tech protocols.  
• Alan – Data Protection and Privacy: Ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations and standards.  

Together, they form the backbone of UNEY’s ISO compliance, enabling us to maintain the highest standards of information security.

Learning as One Team 

To foster a shared understanding and a security-first mindset, all team members are encouraged to complete the following Pluralsight modules: 

• Security Compliance: ISO 27001 – Duration: 57 minutes | Deadline: 25 June 2026  
• Security Awareness 2026 – Duration: 5 hours 20 minutes  

These modules equip our teams with practical knowledge and prepare everyone for meaningful engagement with ISO standards.

Making Security Fun 

Security doesn’t have to be dry! During our upcoming Monthly Business Review (MBR), we’ll host interactive mini games based on the Security Awareness 2026 module. It’s a fun way to test knowledge, engage with peers, and reinforce best practices.
