We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer (Backend / Systems) to join our core team. This role is focused on building scalable, high-performance software systems, with an emphasis on developing a next-generation network security platform.
The ideal candidate is a strong software engineer at heart, with experience in building backend systems, and an interest in applying those skills to networking and cybersecurity domains.

Key Responsibilities
Core Software Development
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and microservices.
Build robust APIs and data pipelines for processing and analyzing network traffic and security events.
Architect distributed systems that are performant, resilient, and maintainable.
Platform Integration (Networking & Security)
Integrate backend services with firewall platforms (e.g., OPNsense) via REST APIs.
Develop services that interact with networking and security components such as proxies, IDS/IPS, and traffic inspection engines.
Translate networking and security requirements into scalable software components.
Essential Requirements
Software Engineering
Strong proficiency in Java or Golang
Experience building microservices, REST APIs, and distributed systems
Experience with caching (e.g., Redis), databases (e.g., PostgreSQL), and observability tools (e.g., ELK)
Domain Knowledge (Networking & Security)
Solid understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP/S, routing, and firewall behavior
Exposure to traffic filtering, IDS/IPS, or secure web gateways
Experience with tools such as OPNsense, Suricata, Snort, or Squid is a plus
